5 Blockchain Companies Helping The Metaverse Grow: Part 20

Here it is, folks, the final part on Blockchain initiatives/companies powered by the Metaverse Insider. In case you missed out on the first in the series, published all the way back in April, here is the link to it.

1. HIVE Blockchain Technologies

Based in Vancouver, Canada, HIVE Blockchain Technologies is the first publicly traded crypto miner, listing on the Toronto Venture Exchange in 2017, under the ticker symbol HIVE.

The company uses one-hundred percent green energy to mine both Bitcoin and Ethereum, with a committed ESG strategy since day one. HIVE strives to create long-term shareholder value with its unique HODL strategy, bridging the Blockchain and cryptocurrencies to traditional capital markets. Blockchain protocols like Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies offer a secure way to transact without the need for middlemen.

HIVE is led by President and COO Aydin Kilic, Director Ian Mann and CFO Darcy Daubaras.

2. INATBA

INATBA — International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications — is located in Brussels, Belgium, in the heart of Europe. INATBA aims to maintain a permanent and constructive dialogue with public authorities and regulators that will contribute to the convergence of regulatory approaches to Blockchain and other distributed ledger technology globally, promote an open, transparent and inclusive global model of governance for Blockchain and other distributed ledger technology infrastructures that reflects the shared interests of stakeholders from industry, startups and SMEs, civil society organizations, governments and international organizations, support the development and adoption of interoperability guidelines, specifications and global standards, to enhance trusted, traceable, user-centric digital services, and develop sector-specific guidelines and specifications for the development and acceleration of trusted sectorial blockchain and DLT applications in specific sectors.

Founded in 2019, the organization is led by a Board of Directors.

3. Blockchain, FinTech, & Cryptography Club at Arizona State University

Founded in 2021, the Blockchain, Fintech & Cryptography Club is affiliated with the Arizona State University Blockchain Research Lab and is interested in education, R&D and promotion within the Blockchain sphere.

Dragan Boscovic, BFC’s current advisor, is also the Founder and Director of the Blockchain Research Lab. The club and the lab will share resources to further the purposes of both organizations.

4. Blockchain PR

Blockchain PR is an agency for public relations and marketing for blockchain technologies involving NFTs, DeFi, Web3, Metaverses, Blockchain Gaming, token launches, and Cryptocurrency platforms.

Founded in 2017, Blockchain PR’s CEO is the Founder of the Women in Blockchain Foundation, Phu Styles. The company has helped launch some of the biggest names in the blockchain industry and continues to be a leader after being named one of the Top 3 NFT marketing agencies in 2021.

5. Blockchain at UCLA

And to finish off the series, we have Blockchain at UCLA, composed of UCLA law, management, engineering and other graduate and undergraduate students and faculty focused on educating and engaging the Los Angeles community on Blockchain technology.

Founded in 2017, Blockchain at UCLA was set up by the organization’s present Chairman, Jason Huan, Veronica Reynolds, Adam Spar, Douglas Wong, Anthony Humay, and Andrew Musk.
