Building an Expansive Metaverse Industry: Under the ambitious plan, Jiangning District aspires to lure a couple of hundred metaverse companies to establish operations within its borders. This concerted effort aims to create an industry capable of generating an impressive annual revenue of 20 billion yuan (US$2.80 billion) by the end of 2025.
By facilitating collaboration between local enterprises and academic institutions, the district aims to train and equip 10,000 metaverse professionals over the next three years.
