Spells of Genesis
Those that realize that the Blockchain, the basis of all things Web3 and the Metaverse, is here to stay — and that its impact will be far-reaching — are sure to succeed commercially in the space this decade. One company in this camp is EverdreamSoft (EDS), a Swiss company based in the beautiful city of Geneva and a founding member of the Blockchain Game Alliance.
Founded in 2010 as a game studio by Shaban Shaame, since 2014 EDS has been a pioneer in the utilization of blockchain tools in gaming and digital collectibles.
Lanched in 2017, EDS’s mobile game Spells of Genesis was an industry trailblazer for “true ownership” of digital assets.
As well as this, EDS also designed the EverdreamSoft Crystal Suite, an integrated suite of tools allowing users to explore, create, share, and manage “Orbs” — rare digital items (art, game items, collectibles) linked to blockchain tokens.
Besides this and the Spells of Genesis game, EDS offers the Orb Explorer — a multi-chain block browser emphasizing the artistic and visual aspects of each Orb, as well as the Casa Tookan Wallet, the first wallet that allows users to manage digital assets, such as Spells of Genesis cards, Cryptokitties and other collectibles in one single place, providing unparalleled convenience.
As EDS’s sole Founder and CEO, Shaban Shaame has more than ten years in the game industry as a producer of mobile games such as Moonga and Spells of Genesis and eight years of experience in using blockchain in games. Shaame’s vision for his industry is that the blockchain will change the economy and the way people live even more than the Internet. He believes “true ownership of digital assets is the first step for a profound paradigm shift.”
EDS’s Founder is also a Co-Founder and Board Member of the Blockchain Game Alliance, another Swiss Blockchain initiative based in Bern.
Shaame obtained a BA in Information Systems from the University of Geneva.
