As the Metaverse reaches new heights of popularity and acceptance within the mainstream media outlets and business world, more platforms will come into being that give rise to the new technological paradigm.

MetaVRse, a Toronto-based startup founded in 2016 by Paul Konieczny, Alan Smithson, Walid Abdelaty, Julie Smithson, and Sergei Sachkov, is out to make it easy to “create, curate and consume Interactive XR Experiences on the Web.” Backed by the fact it has completed more than one hundred XR Projects, eight world-firsts, can take pride in the 65 XR industry expert mentors on its books, and boast about its Universal 3D Game Engine, it’s easy to see why the company is going places.

MetaVRse’s proprietary, code-optional web platform intends to achieve this by exploiting the capacity of billions of devices “from a one-click publish”. This, the team believes, is the action needed that will instigate an open, universal and democratic Metaverse available to everyone.

The startup offers two basic services:

The MetaVRse Virtual Showroom:

• A product for savvy marketers in any category looking to engage with customers in an interactive, engaging and fun way. Fully customizable virtual showrooms powered by MetaVRse open up incredible new possibilities for customers to experience your products in unique ways. Sell watches on beaches and cars on Mars, all virtually. From smartphones to apparel, home furnishings, digital goods and more, the future is here

• From travel restrictions to the WFH revolution, bringing employees up to speed quickly and effectively has never been more important. By using the same fundamental principles as game design, the MetaVRse platform breathes new life into training programs

Behind all this exciting IP is a founding team whose expertise reaches all areas sectors of technology and marketing:

Five Founders

MetaVRse’s CEO is Paul Konieczny, an experienced entrepreneur in managing and creating new businesses working in high-tech and highly automated industries.

When talking about outside funding, MetaVRse has raised a total of $700,000 over three rounds, according to Crunchbase data.

With the Metaverse becoming ever more popular, MetaVRse’s goal of bringing the power of spatial computing (3D/XR) to every person on the planet is heading in the right direction via its web-based 3D creation platform.

There’s no doubt the Metaverse Insider will be writing about this company more in the future!
